In Demon Slayer, his weapon is formed from his own demonic flesh and accompanies his Moon Breathing. The blade bears eyes and can transform along with him, which sets it apart radically from the Nichirin swords used by the demon slayers. This weapon corresponds to the Upper Rank One, formerly Michikatsu Tsugikuni, who retained his swordsmanship after becoming a demon.

The figure depicts Kokushibo with his six eyes, his transformed right arm, and a sword held in his left hand. The PVC is molded in several assembled shells, with joints passing through folds in the clothing or along the edge of hair strands, where they are least visible. The base supports the weight of the pose, even when the Demon Slayer character is unbalanced toward the front. Nothing is meant to be disassembled: fine elements, when present, are permanently glued and should not be forced. At this height, every detail of the face becomes legible, which no small format allows: drawn irises, separated eyebrows, and visible teeth when the mouth is open.

For cleaning, a clean watercolor brush works better than any cloth. Two dots of adhesive putty under the base are enough to secure the piece on a shelf accessible to children or cats. And for photography, soft side lighting reveals the sculpting that ceiling light flattens. No household products on the painted surfaces: they will eat away the layers of paint within a few wipes. Six eyes and a scaled arm.

Discover more in the same universe

To find out more, the story of the Tsugikuni brothers tells the fate of the two twins.

For the same character in fabric, the six-eyed plush.
