Terms of sale
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms of sale govern sales made on the Boutique Demon Slayer website. They add to our Terms of service, our Shipping policy and our Return and refund policy. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read them and accept them.
Who you are buying from
Boutique Demon Slayer, a French sole trader registered under the micro-enterprise scheme. The full identification details appear in our Legal notice. Contact: contact@boutique-demonslayer.com or the contact form.
What we sell
We sell items inspired by the world of Kimetsu no Yaiba, known in English as Demon Slayer: clothing and fashion accessories, figures, LEGO sets, home decor and textiles, jewellery, stationery, costumes and everyday accessories.
Each item's features, materials, dimensions, colours and the contents of each set are given on its product page. Photographs do not form part of the contract: colours can render differently from one screen to another, and slight differences from the item delivered are possible.
Our items are neither produced nor distributed by the rights holders of the work. See our Legal notice.
Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. Boutique Demon Slayer falls under the small-business VAT exemption, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code: our invoices carry no VAT.
The prices shown do not include delivery charges, which are set out in our Shipping policy and whose exact amount appears before you confirm payment.
We may change our prices at any time. Items ordered are invoiced at the price in force at the moment you confirm your order.
Placing an order
You choose your items, add them to the basket, then confirm the order once you have checked its contents. Before payment, a summary lets you correct anything you entered wrongly.
The sale becomes binding when payment is received and the confirmation email is sent.
We may refuse or cancel an order on legitimate grounds: out-of-stock items, an obviously wrong price, suspected fraud, or an earlier unresolved dispute. In that case you are refunded in full.
Payment
Payment is made online using the methods offered on the site. Transactions are secured by the standard protocols of online commerce, and no bank details are kept by Boutique Demon Slayer.
Delivery
The destinations we serve, the times, the charges and the tracking are set out in our Shipping policy.
Under article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the risk of the parcel being lost or damaged lies with us until the goods are physically handed to you.
Right to withdraw
Under articles L221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, you have a legal period of 14 days from the day you receive your order to withdraw from it, without having to justify yourself and without penalty.
Boutique Demon Slayer extends that period to 30 days of its own accord.
The full procedure, the condition items must be in, return postage and refund times are set out in our Return and refund policy, which also contains the model withdrawal form.
Exceptions. Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right to withdraw does not apply to goods personalised to your specifications, to goods unsealed after delivery that cannot be sent back for reasons of hygiene, to recordings and software unsealed after delivery, or to goods inseparably mixed with others after delivery. Outside those cases, every item we sell can be returned, including items bought in a sale.
Your legal guarantees
You have the legal guarantee of conformity, articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code, for 2 years from the day the goods are delivered. You can obtain the repair or the replacement of the item, failing which a reduction in price or the cancellation of the sale. You do not have to prove that the defect existed during the 24 months that follow delivery.
You also have the guarantee against hidden defects, articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code, which allows you to act for 2 years from the day you discover the defect and to obtain the cancellation of the sale or a reduction in price, under article 1644 of the French Civil Code.
These guarantees apply whatever our commercial return policy says, and we can neither reduce them nor set them aside. To call on them, write to us at contact@boutique-demonslayer.com, attaching photographs of the defect and your order number.
Complaints and after-sales service
For any complaint, write to us at contact@boutique-demonslayer.com or use the contact form. We reply within 48 working hours.
Consumer mediation
Under article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, if a dispute has not been settled directly with us within a reasonable time, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer ombudsman.
The official list of registered ombudsmen is available on the French Ministry of the Economy's website: economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso.
If you live in another European Union country, the European Commission publishes the list of out-of-court dispute resolution bodies competent in your country: consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
