Akaza Demon Slayer

Upper Moon Three, Akaza fights with his bare hands whereas all the other demons in Kimetsu no Yaiba carry a weapon. His blue tattoos and his destructive technique make him the most striking adversary in the series.

Akaza seeks strength for its own sake and invites every talented fighter to become a demon. Yet, he refuses to harm women, without knowing why: his memories as a human, when he was called Hakuji and looked after Koyuki, were erased along with his life. His clash with Rengoku, and later the one in the Infinity Castle, bring this story to a close.

His blue tattoos on fair skin contrast with the red of the demon slayers, and the collection leans heavily on this: numerous sweatshirts, figurines and dioramas, t-shirts, jewelry, apparel, and a few posters.

The Demons brings together the series' antagonists, Doma, the Upper Rank Two, and Kyojuro Rengoku, his most famous adversary. Figurines, sweatshirts, and t-shirts allow you to search by product type.

Akaza Demon Slayer: 53 items with blue markings

Fifty-three references ranging from €9.90 to €99.90. The blue tattoos of the Upper Rank Three demon are the most featured demon motif in the catalog.

Textiles dominate

Twelve sweatshirts, four t-shirts, three tote bags, two jackets, two pairs of boxers, one set of pajamas. Akaza is the only demon whose collection features more clothing than figures, which speaks volumes about his popularity.

Ten figures

From the kneeling statue at €39.90 to the diorama with Koyuki at €99.90, including the luminous version and the blue shards. Two necklaces and two rings feature his markings in steel.

FAQ - Akaza Demon Slayer

What do these blue marks represent?
These are the tattoos of a condemned man, inherited from his human life. They spread across his body as he becomes more powerful. It is this pattern, more than his face, that identifies the character on a garment.
Who is Koyuki?
The woman he was to marry before becoming a demon. Two dioramas depict them together, in 23 and 26 cm, at €69.90 and €99.90. These are the most sought-after items in the department.
Why is he fighting bare-handed?
Because he practices a martial art rather than a sword technique, he is the only demon in this case. The figures often feature this defensive stance, with fists clenched and legs spread apart.
Which figurine should I choose?
The 30 cm version at €49.90 to match the other demons, the luminous version at €54.90 for the effect of the markings in the dark, or a diorama with Koyuki for the most narrative piece on the shelf.
And Rengoku?
Their confrontation on the train is the series' most memorable moment. Rengoku has his own display, and several articles show them face to face.

Akaza's blue on the clothing

He is the best-dressed demon. The sweatshirts have twelve, a record for an antagonist, the t-shirts four, and the tote bags three. The jewelry engraves his marks in steel.

As for the rest of the collection, the demon figures line him up with Kokushibo and Doma, and the Halloween section offers his costume. Rengoku, his opponent from the train, is right next to him, and the two are found together on several posters and phone cases, face to face on the same visual.
