Demon Slayer duvet cover and bedding set

In short

The bedding range has twenty-seven Demon Slayer bedding sets, from €69.90 to €99.90, and four cushion covers from €17.90. Each set brings together a microfibre duvet cover printed over its whole surface, one or two matching pillowcases and a press-stud fastening at the foot, in twelve or thirteen European, Australian and American sizes. Twelve sets show a single character, fourteen a duo, including five of Shinobu and Giyu and five of Nezuko and Zenitsu. Measure your duvet before choosing: it decides the size.

Zenitsu Agatsuma, his sword in hand, and Nezuko Kamado ready to fight, side by side in a carriage of the Mugen Train, Demon Slayer

In the evening, the last image before you switch off the light is your bed. It may as well make you smile: Shinobu handing a steaming bowl to Giyu, Nezuko in a festive kimono with a mandarin for Zenitsu, or Tanjiro’s chequers watching over your sleep. A Demon Slayer bedding set changes a whole bedroom in one move, and is noticed as soon as the door opens.

This guide reviews the range’s twenty-seven bedding sets and cushion covers: what a set contains, how to choose the size, the models by character, care and tips for a child’s or teenager’s bedroom. Our other bedroom ideas are in our guide to decorating a Demon Slayer bedroom, and our buying tips on the shop’s guides and tips page.

Which Demon Slayer bedding set to choose?

All the sets share the same construction. What sets them apart is the design, and the tone it gives the bedroom: a Hashira portrait for a teenager, a tender, softened scene for a gentler bedroom, a graphic pattern for an adult’s bedroom.

Family Number of sets Price
A single character 12: Nezuko, Giyu, Tanjiro, Rengoku, Mitsuri, Shinobu from €69.90 to €99.90
Shinobu and Giyu 5 from €69.90 to €99.90
Nezuko and Zenitsu 5 from €69.90 to €99.90
Nezuko and Tanjiro 2 from €69.90 to €99.90
The Kocho sisters, Shinobu and Kanao 2 from €69.90 to €99.90
The quartet 1 from €69.90 to €99.90

The whole range is gathered in the Demon Slayer bedding collection, which joins the Demon Slayer decor collection.

One bed, one story

A duo teasing each other, a sister protecting her brother, a Hashira in close-up: the set tells a scene before you even slip into it.

What a bedding set contains

Each set brings together a duvet cover and its matching pillowcases: one pillowcase for single formats, two for double formats. The cover fastens with press studs at the foot of the bed, which hold better than a simple flap when the duvet slides during the night.

The print is made by dye sublimation on microfibre: the ink goes into the fibre instead of staying on the surface. The design does not crack at the folds and does not stiffen the fabric, even on large dark areas. It feels like an ordinary sheet.

The pillowcases repeat the cover’s design, scaled down or in the same colour range. The fitted sheet is not included, nor are the duvet and pillows themselves: a plain sheet, white or in the design’s dominant colour, shows off the set.

Choosing the right size

This is the step not to get wrong. The sets come in twelve or thirteen sizes following three standards, European, Australian and American, and their names do not mean the same thing from one country to another. Measure your duvet, width and length, and choose the cover that matches it, or the one just above.

European size Cover dimensions Price depending on the model
EU Single 135 × 200 cm 69,90 €
EU Double 200 × 200 cm 79,90 €
EU King 220 × 240 cm 99,90 €
EU King or Super King 220 × 260 cm or 260 × 220 cm From €89.90
3 pieces, on some models 155 × 215 cm 79,90 €

In France, a single duvet often measures 140 × 200 cm: the EU Single cover, at 135 × 200 cm, will be a little tight in width. On the models that offer it, the 155 × 215 cm three-piece format suits it better, and the Australian Single, at 140 × 210 cm, or the American Twin, at 172 × 218 cm, are other options. For a 200 × 200 or 220 × 240 cm duvet, the EU Double and EU King formats fit exactly. On a 160 × 200 cm bed, the most common duvet in France measures 220 × 240 cm: the EU King is what you need.

A cover slightly larger than the duvet fills less well at the sides, a smaller cover will not close. When in doubt, a few centimetres too many is better than too few.

Measure the duvet

Size names change from one country to another. Measure your duvet and choose the cover by its dimensions, never by the format’s name.

Single-character sets

Twelve sets are devoted to a single character. Tanjiro’s splits the background between a deep red and a fir green, crossed by a wide band of black and white chequers, with the boy from the chest up, sword drawn, scar on his forehead and hanafuda earrings clearly visible. These earrings come from his father, and it is by them that Muzan recognises him on a street in Asakusa.

Tanjiro Kamado, jaw clenched and a determined look, his green and black chequered haori swept up by the movement, on Mount Natagumo, season 1, Demon Slayer

Giyu Tomioka has three. The woodblock print changes register: blue waves with white crests, stylised clouds and fans drawn flat, in the manner of Japanese prints, with the Hashira in the centre. On the blue circle, he stands in the middle of a ring of water, sword drawn, on a midnight blue background studded with droplets. The third shows him in extreme close-up. Rengoku has an almost abstract set, a gold eye ringed with red in the centre, surrounded by orange flames rising in swirls on a dark background. Mitsuri is framed from the chest up on a pinkish-white background covered with cherry branches, her pink braid turning green at the tips: a colour she owes, according to the series, to the cherry blossom rice cakes she ate by the dozen. Shinobu has her set with butterflies.

Nezuko has five, on a white background, in portrait, in red and blue, in red and green, and as a fairy tale: on the last one, she sits enthroned in the centre in a yellow and blue dress, a red ribbon in her hair, surrounded by several miniature Zenitsus in mismatched outfits. Even alone on her set, Nezuko cannot escape her admirer. Our page on the Demon Slayer Hashira presents Giyu, Rengoku, Mitsuri and Shinobu in detail. Their ranges are the complete Tanjiro Kamado collection, the complete Kyojuro Rengoku collection and the complete Mitsuri Kanroji collection.

Shinobu and Giyu, five sets

In Demon Slayer, Shinobu Kocho and Giyu Tomioka form an unexpected duo. She smiles constantly, he hardly ever speaks. She teases him in front of everyone, tells him he is not liked by the other Hashira, and he never knows what to answer. Five sets play on this contrast, in a softened style, far from the battle scenes.

Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira, her hand on her cheek and an amused look, on the night of Mount Natagumo, season 1, Demon Slayer

On the first, on a pale pink background, Shinobu hands a steaming bowl of oden to Giyu, sitting opposite her: a meal scene the series never grants him, since he always eats alone. On another, she grabs his cheeks with both hands, a smile on her lips, while he remains impassive, on a pink checked background. The other three show them under the wisteria, in black and white, or side by side on a light background.

For the bedroom of a teenage girl who loves both Hashira, or for a couple who loves the series, these are the most endearing sets in the range. Giyu, who has not felt worthy of his title since the death of his friend Sabito, finally finds a little gentleness here, and Shinobu, who hides her anger behind a smile, genuinely has fun. Their ranges are the complete Shinobu Kocho collection and the complete Giyu Tomioka collection.

Nezuko and Zenitsu, in chibi form

Zenitsu falls in love with Nezuko at first sight, and declares his feelings more or less every time he runs into her. Five sets have fun with this one-sided love, almost all in chibi form, round heads and small bodies.

On the New Year set, both are in festive kimono: Nezuko hands a mandarin to Zenitsu sitting on cushions, surrounded by a pile of rice cakes, on a cream background scattered with orange stars. The other four show them on a yellow background, in the middle of a party, in costumes or in chibi form, always with Zenitsu doting on the one he loves.

These are the funniest sets in the range, and the ones best suited to a child’s bedroom: the tone is light, the colours bright, and no fight darkens the design. Their ranges are the complete Nezuko Kamado collection and the complete Zenitsu Agatsuma collection.

Nezuko and Tanjiro, the Kocho sisters and the quartet

Two sets bring together the brother and sister, at the heart of Demon Slayer. On the first, Nezuko takes up the left, her long black hair mixed with cherry blossoms, Tanjiro the right, scar on his forehead and earrings visible, on a background shifting from bright pink to turquoise, with waves and branches. On the second, darker one, they lie head to toe, Nezuko in the foreground, her hair spread out, Tanjiro behind her with his eyes closed, crossed by orange streaks and blue butterflies.

They were the eldest and second of six children, in a mountain house where charcoal was sold. After the night of the massacre, he carries her on his back in a wooden box throughout the first season. For a bedroom shared by a brother and sister, the pink set is a tender choice; the dark one suits a teenager better.

Two sets bring together the women of the Butterfly Mansion. On the first, Shinobu and her elder sister Kanae lie face to face, hands joined in the centre, their butterfly-wing haori spread around them, on a background of white and purple anemones. Kanae, the former Flower Hashira, was killed by a demon when Shinobu was still a teenager, and everything the younger sister wears, the haori, the smile, comes from her.

Kanao Tsuyuri, her butterfly ornament in her hair and a determined look, in uniform, in portrait, Demon Slayer

On the second, Shinobu and Kanao stand back to back, in dark uniform under a white cape, in snow falling in large flakes. Kanao, the orphan taken in by the two sisters, became Shinobu’s disciple. Our article on Doma and Shinobu, the sisters’ revenge tells their story, and the complete Kanao Tsuyuri collection brings together the disciple’s range.

Finally, the quartet set puts Tanjiro in the foreground on a bright orange background, his eye red and the scar on his forehead, with Inosuke’s boar mask to his left, Nezuko above and Zenitsu behind. The pillowcases repeat all four on a smaller scale. The bright orange warms a bedroom with white walls, and goes well with a black or dark green throw. Our article on the Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke trio tells how they became inseparable.

Cushion covers

To complete the bed or dress a sofa, the range offers four cushion covers, from €17.90 to €44.90 depending on the format, from 30 × 30 to 70 × 70 cm. All close with a zip hidden in a side seam, and the cushion insert is not supplied. Choose an insert the size of the cover, or a few centimetres bigger for a well-filled cover: a 45 × 45 cm insert in a 45 × 45 cm cover gives a nicely plump cushion.

The cover with hidden seams carries an edge-to-edge illustration: the whole group, Rengoku and Akaza, the Hashira or Rengoku alone. The full-illustration one shows Nezuko, Shinobu, Zenitsu, Tanjiro or the group. The short-pile plush cover, soft as velvet, carries two different illustrations of Tengen Uzui, one per side, one of them with his eyepatch.

The most fun is the cover with ears at the corners: a chibi face, round cheeks and big eyes, printed to the edges, hair included, so that the filled cushion takes the shape of a head. Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Tomioka are among the eight designs. The matching throws are in the Demon Slayer throws collection.

Caring for your bedding set

Wash it once before the first night: it removes the fabric’s finish and softens the microfibre, which comes out of the packet a little stiff. Then wash at 30 °C, inside out, without bleach, which would dull the print.

Dry in the open air rather than in the machine, and iron if needed at a low temperature, always on the reverse. Close the press studs before washing so the cover does not get tangled with the rest of the laundry, and wash it alone or with similar colours.

Store the set clean and thoroughly dry, folded inside a matching pillowcase: it stays together, and you find it without hunting for the second pillowcase at the back of the wardrobe. To keep the colours bright for longer, alternate with a second set: a cover that rests between washes ages more slowly. It is also a chance to change character with the season, Rengoku and his flames in winter, Mitsuri and her cherry blossoms in spring.

For a child’s or teenager’s bedroom

For a child, the chibi sets of Nezuko and Zenitsu are the gentlest: bright colours, party scenes, no fighting. For a teenager, the portraits of Tanjiro, Giyu or Rengoku, and the quartet set on an orange background, go down better.

The EU Single format suits most children’s single beds, as long as you check the width of the duvet, often 140 cm in France. Complete it with a laundry basket and a poster of the same character, and the bedroom is transformed. Our guide to Demon Slayer laundry baskets and the one on Demon Slayer posters and tapestries help you put it all together.

To decide between two characters, let the child choose: they are the one who will sleep under it, and our page on all the Demon Slayer characters can help them make up their mind. Our page Demon Slayer for children, a guide by age gathers other ideas for the bedroom, and our guide to Demon Slayer pyjamas completes the nightwear.

Budget and delivery

A bedding set costs €69.90 in a single format, and up to €99.90 in a very large format. Cushion covers start at €17.90 in 30 × 30 cm. For a double bed, plan two cushions of the same character, or two characters who answer each other, Shinobu on one side and Giyu on the other, Nezuko and Zenitsu, Rengoku and Akaza: the bed then tells a little story all on its own.

Allow 5 to 12 days for delivery depending on location. Delivery is free in France, with no minimum purchase, and every parcel is tracked. For a birthday or Christmas gift, a bedding set and a cushion cover of the same character make a complete set. Our Demon Slayer merchandise guide presents every range.
