Acid-wash T-shirt in seven designs, Mitsuri and Obanai T-shirt and Nezuko T-shirt, Demon Slayer products from the shop

Demon Slayer t-shirt: which size and which model

In short

The Demon Slayer t-shirt range has some forty products between €39.90 and €64.90. Three families share it: crew-neck cotton with a small design on the front and a large image on the back, stone-washed or acid-washed cotton, and the compression top for the gym. Sizes run from 100 cm for children to adult 4XL, sometimes given in kilos, and the models run one letter below your usual size.

A Demon Slayer t-shirt is chosen mainly on two criteria. The size, which accounts for almost all returns, and where the design sits.

The range has some forty products. They are split between three ways of treating cotton, and three ways of placing the design.

This guide gives you the sizes actually available, explains how to read them, and details what each family brings.

The range’s three families

Family Price Cotton
Crew-neck cotton €39.90 to €64.90 plain cotton, straight or loose cut
Washed cotton €44.90 to €64.90 stone-washed or acid-washed
Compression top €39.90 to €54.90 quick-dry synthetic

The difference can be seen and felt. Plain cotton stays neutral, washed cotton has irregular shading, and a compression top clings to the body.

The price follows the fabric treatment. The cheapest Demon Slayer t-shirt costs €39.90, the most elaborate washed one goes up to €64.90.

The cut varies too. Straight on the classic models, wide or oversized on part of the range, close-fitting on the compression tops.

You can browse the whole range from the shop’s t-shirt section, and the guides and tips page brings together the other ranges.

The sports models are grouped together. The sports t-shirt section brings together the compression tops and technical cuts.

The number of variants per listing is surprising. A single product sometimes offers eleven colours and fourteen sizes, that is, more than a hundred and fifty combinations in the same selector.

Three cottons, three looks

Plain, washed or technical. The choice of fabric matters as much as the choice of character.

Crew-neck cotton, the standard model

The Demon Slayer t-shirt template repeats from one product to the next. Crew neck, straight cut, short sleeves, a small print on the chest and a large image on the back.

The Nezuko t-shirt in eleven colours sets the model. A small vignette on the front, the name and portrait in large on the back, fourteen sizes from 100 cm to 4XL.

The front stays discreet. A vignette of a few centimetres, often a chibi version of the character with their first name, which imposes nothing from a distance.

The back carries the whole image. A full-width portrait, the name in kanji, a background behind: that is where the garment is read.

Some products also print the sleeves. Two small side designs, visible with arms by your sides, which give some relief to a piece that is otherwise sober on the front.

There are many colours, up to eleven shades depending on the listing, from black to pink by way of khaki, camel and charcoal.

The price starts low, at €39.90 on the first products, one of the cheapest entry points in the clothing range.

Small front, large back

The rule for almost the whole range: a vignette on the chest, a full-width image on the back.

Five to eleven colours

Chosen in the same selector as the size, with no change in price.

From €39.90 to €64.90

Plain cotton covers the widest bracket in the range.

The prints are applied flat on most products, which explains why the designs are relatively fragile in a hot wash.

A hundred and fifty combinations

Eleven colours and fourteen sizes in the same selector. Check both before confirming.

The fourteen steps mix children’s and adult sizes. Seven sizes in centimetres from 100 to 160, then seven letters from S to 4XL, in the same selector and on the same listing.

This model’s large image is of the hero’s sister, whose path the story of Nezuko Kamado traces.

Washed cotton

Washed is the most common treatment at the top of the range. Stone washing or acid washing, which gives an irregular background, lighter in patches.

The finish changes how the design reads. On a mottled dark grey background, a colour print stands out more than on a plain cotton of the same shade.

The washed t-shirt with seven designs in a loose cut at €54.90 even offers a plain version, with no print at all, if you want the material without the design.

Sizes in this family start higher. Many washed t-shirts start at M and go up to 3XL, with no children’s equivalent.

The cut is often loose. Dropped shoulders, a roomy body, wider short sleeves: it is the oversized register of the Demon Slayer range.

The washed t-shirt with five characters to choose from names its variants rather than numbering them, which saves you guessing who is behind a number.

Washed cotton ages well. The irregular shade hides natural wear, whereas plain black shows every trip through the machine.

The loose cut has its limits. Beyond one size’s difference, the shoulders drop too low and the garment loses its line instead of looking deliberately roomy.

Washed cotton hides wear

An irregular background withstands washing without showing it. Plain black cotton shows its age much faster.

The washed shades stay dark. Dark grey, khaki, purple, camel and beige dominate this family, with no bright white or vivid colour.

Washed cotton is heavier. The treatment slightly thickens the knit, which gives a more structured piece than an entry-level t-shirt.

One listing names its five variants. Kokushibo, Obanai, Tokito, Akaza and a nameless demon, at €49.90, from M to 4XL.

The washed t-shirts sit with the other cuts in the men’s section of the range, next to the straight cuts.

The compression top

This family in the Demon Slayer range is aimed at the gym. Quick-dry synthetic fabric, close-fitting cut, print on the front and back.

The top with the Hashira’s names at €49.90 bears the series’ title small on the front, and the list of nine names lined up on the back.

The designs stay typographic. Kanji, the title in kana, names in Latin capitals: this family plays on text rather than portraits.

Four colours come back everywhere. Black, grey, white and navy, the usual shades of technical wear.

Quick drying is the real selling point. A compression top dries in a few hours, whereas thick cotton needs a whole night.

Sizes run from S to XXXL. They do not go down to children’s sizes, as this family is designed for adult gym use.

The print changes colour depending on the background, white on dark colours, black on white, which keeps the text readable.

Close-fitting, not loose

A compression top is worn tight by design. If you take a size up, it loses its point.

The top can be worn on its own. You can also use it as a base layer under a loose t-shirt, which changes how the back print shows.

Prices vary from one model to another: €39.90 for the listing with seven designs, €54.90 for the quick-dry Akaza, €49.90 for the typographic models in the Demon Slayer t-shirt range, €49.90 for the long-sleeved model with six eyes.

The nine names on the back are those our ranking of the series’ Hashira sorts out.

Which size to choose?

Three sizing systems coexist in the Demon Slayer range. Centimetres for children, letters for adults, and sometimes weight given in brackets.

Children’s sizes run from 100 to 160 cm. One step every ten centimetres, based on the child’s height rather than age.

Adult sizes run from S to 4XL. For the same measurements, the models generally run one letter below your usual size.

Some listings give the weight. An S for 45 to 50 kg, an M for 50 to 55, and so on: this guide is more reliable than the letter alone.

Washed t-shirts often start at M. This family does not go any lower, which rules out slim builds at the top of the range.

The rule that avoids returns stays the same. Lay a t-shirt that fits you well flat, measure chest width and back length, then compare with the size chart on the listing.

A loose cut is more forgiving. An oversized model can take one size’s difference without it showing, unlike a straight cut.

Children, 100 to 160 cm

One step every 10 cm, based on the child’s height.

Adults, S to 4XL

Runs small, often one letter below your usual size.

Sometimes in kilos

A few listings give a weight guide, more reliable than the letter.

Returns cost time. Take five minutes to measure a garment laid flat: you will avoid a week-long exchange on an order shipped from far away.

Three listings give their sizes in kilos. The two Inosuke t-shirts give S for 45 to 50 kg and go up to 4XL for 95 to 100 kg, a more reliable guide than the letter alone.

Which design to choose?

The design decides how the garment is used. A large portrait on the back gets noticed, a small vignette on the front goes unnoticed under an open jacket.

Three registers share the range. The large portrait, the black and white manga page, and the typographic design based on kanji.

The manga page has its place. Several products use drawn panels rather than a colour illustration, which gives a more sober result.

Kanji alone remains the most discreet. The Demon Slayer Corps character on a plain background can be worn anywhere, as our article on the demon slayers’ uniform details.

The choice of character matters just as much. The Hashira dominate the range, followed by the upper-ranking demons, and the supporting cast share a few pieces.

Our page about the Hashira and their rank helps you work out who is who before choosing.

The size of the image varies little. Most large backs take up the full width between the shoulder seams, which makes the design readable from several metres away.

The garment’s background affects readability. A dark image on a black t-shirt is guessed at more than seen, whereas the same drawing stands out clearly on beige.

The back carries the message

On almost the whole range, the large image is on the back. As soon as you lean back, it can no longer be seen.

The season matters in the choice. A t-shirt with a large back image shows in summer, and disappears under a jacket the rest of the year.

Printed sleeves remain rare. Only one listing offers them, Inosuke’s with the boar, with two side designs visible with arms by your sides.

Children’s models

Children share the same listings as adults in the Demon Slayer range. Instead of a separate section, sizes 100 to 160 cm appear in the selector of the adult models.

Fourteen sizes on a single product. Seven children’s steps and seven adult steps, which lets you dress a whole family of siblings with the same design.

The image does not change. The same small design on the front, the same large back, simply resized for the size ordered.

Cotton remains the usual choice. It stands up to frequent washing better than technical fabrics, which matters for a school garment.

The rest of the children’s range is grouped together. The children’s section of the catalogue brings together the pieces designed for the youngest.

One children’s listing goes up to thirteen steps. The Mitsuri and Obanai t-shirt covers from 100 cm to 3XL in black or white, at €54.90.

Our page on Demon Slayer for children says what suits each age, and the portrait of Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira presents one of the two figures on this model.

The complete set

One product stands outside the t-shirts-only range. The Nezuko set brings together a cropped top and wide trousers in the same order, at €69.90.

The logic is that of a complete outfit. Top and bottom matched, the same design, the same colour range, which saves you from having to pair two pieces bought separately.

The sizes cover children and adults. From 100 cm to adult letters, in the same selector, as on the standard Demon Slayer t-shirts.

This format remains rare in the range. Most products are sold individually, and the combining happens when you get dressed.

The register is bolder than a t-shirt. A matching set is a full commitment, whereas a printed top is worn with neutral jeans.

The women’s section of the catalogue brings together these cuts, next to the men’s section of the range.

A matching top and bottom

The set saves you from having to pair two purchases. The design and colours are already coordinated.

Materials and care

Cotton is the usual material in the Demon Slayer t-shirt range, compression tops aside. Treated well, it keeps its shape wash after wash as long as the temperature stays low.

Wash at thirty degrees. Inside out, without fabric softener on the printed areas, and without a full-speed spin.

The tumble dryer is the main enemy. Hot air cracks applied prints within a few cycles, whereas drying on a hanger preserves them.

Always iron inside out. A warm iron, never directly on the design, and a pressing cloth over large printed areas.

Washed t-shirts need fewer precautions. The irregular background tolerates lapses, but the print on top is as fragile as anywhere else.

Compression tops should be washed separately. Technical fabrics hold on to smells if left wet, and wash better on their own.

Sorting by colour remains useful. Washed t-shirts release a little dye in the first washes, and are better washed with dark pieces.

Never in the tumble dryer

Prints crack in hot air. Wash inside out, at thirty degrees, and dry on a hanger.

What mistakes should you avoid?

The first is ordering your usual size. On cuts that run small, this often gives a garment too narrow at the shoulders and too short in the body.

The second is ignoring the weight guide. When the listing gives it, it is more reliable than the letter, and it is often lower than expected.

The third is taking a compression top a size up. It then loses its function and becomes a badly cut synthetic t-shirt.

The fourth is forgetting that the design is on the back. If you wear it under a jacket or spend the day on a chair, a small design on the front serves you better.

The fifth is washing hot. A sixty-degree wash is enough to dull a print in a single cycle.

The sixth is judging the colour on a screen. Differences in rendering mainly affect greys, beiges and navies.

The seventh is ordering several sizes to choose afterwards. A partial return often costs more than the five minutes of measuring it replaces.

Weight before the letter

When the listing gives a weight guide in kilos, follow it. The letter alone is misleading.

The design behind the jacket

A large back image only comes alive in summer. In winter, the chest vignette does the work.

What budget for a Demon Slayer t-shirt?

From €39.90, entry-level cotton. The first products offer up to eleven colours and fourteen sizes.

Above that, the bulk of the range. Demon Slayer t-shirts featuring the Hashira and the demons are found here, compression tops included.

Up to €64.90, the elaborate washed t-shirt. Acid washing, a loose cut and a full-width print take up the top of the range.

The price brackets are grouped separately. The selection under €20 and the selection between €20 and €40 cover the whole catalogue.

The rest of the clothing follows. The complete clothing section, the adult sweatshirts and the shirts with the series’ patterns extend the range.

The top price points come down mostly to washed cotton, which goes up to €64.90.

Key points

  1. The Demon Slayer t-shirt range has some forty products from €39.90 to €64.90, in plain cotton, washed cotton or compression fabric.
  2. The rule for almost the whole range: a small vignette on the front, the large image on the back.
  3. Sizes run from 100 cm for children to adult 4XL, and the models run one letter smaller.
  4. Take your compression top in your real size, never a size up, or it loses its point.
  5. Wash at thirty degrees, inside out, and dry on a hanger: the tumble dryer cracks the prints.
