Discover this Demon Slayer Mitsuri and Obanai T-shirt - Chibi, 13 sizes, designed for summer and daily wear. This t-shirt features a crew neck, soft cotton, a chibi print on the center of the chest, two colors, and thirteen sizes, from 100 cm for children up to adult sizes.
The design shows Obanai and Mitsuri in chibi style, huddled against one another; she is smiling, and he is shown in profile with his bandage and his snake. Two small hearts float above them. This is the only design in the department that features these two characters together.
A story the series never writes
The manga never explicitly states what binds Obanai and Mitsuri. It shows it through details: he watches her eat without saying a word, he covers for her at meetings, he refuses to let anyone judge her for her appetite. Readers understand well before the characters do, which is precisely the intended effect. Mitsuri joined the Corps after no suitor wanted a woman capable of lifting what she can lift, and Obanai is the only one who never commented on her strength.
This is only resolved at the very end, in a letter Obanai writes that she will never read, and in a final scene where they die in the same battle.
