Discover this Demon Slayer Butterfly Wing Backpack and Pencil Case, a two-piece set featuring a 40 x 30 x 17 cm backpack and a 22 x 7 cm pencil case, both printed with a butterfly wing gradient.

The gradient starts with white at the top, transitions to teal, then to pink towards the bottom, crisscrossed with black veins that radiate like those on a wing. A dark band speckled with white closes the bottom of the bag, like the edge of a butterfly wing, and is replicated exactly on the pencil case. The two pieces read as a single pattern split in two.

The butterfly evokes the Insect Hashira

Shinobu Kocho is recognizable by her haori, the edges of which mimic the shape and colors of butterfly wings. In Demon Slayer, this appearance accompanies the Insect Hashira both in battle and at the Butterfly Mansion, where she treats wounded demon slayers. The butterfly is therefore not an external motif added to the character; it is a direct part of her visual identity in the series.

The backpack and pencil case feature this gradient from white to teal to pink, crossed by dark veins. No portrait is necessary for the reference to Shinobu to be legible. Inside, a padded compartment accommodates a laptop up to 14 inches, with slip pockets in front for small items. An external zippered pocket holds a phone and keys, an internal zippered pocket serves as a hiding place, and an open side pocket holds a water bottle.

The pencil case is 22 cm long by 7 cm high, with a full-length zipper, wide enough for markers and a folding ruler. Both pieces can be cleaned with a damp sponge. Since the gradient is light at the top of the bag, it is best to avoid placing it on wet ground, as with any textile printed with pale colors. The straps are adjustable via sliding buckles, and the padded back retains its shape once the bag is loaded with textbooks. A single pattern, cut into two pieces that go together.
