Discover these Demon Slayer Butterfly Wing Resin Earrings, dangle earrings in the shape of translucent resin wings with detailed veins, attached beneath a small gold setting adorned with rhinestones, on hooks. Three colors to choose from: blue, green, or red.
Two translucent wings hang beneath a small gold setting scattered with rhinestones, their fine veins drawn just like on a real wing. Light passes through them, highlighting their gradients: purple and blue, green and turquoise, or dark red, almost burgundy.
The butterfly, the soul of the departed
In Japan, an ancient belief sees the butterfly as the soul of a deceased person coming to visit the living. In Demon Slayer, the symbol surrounds the Kocho sisters, whose name means butterfly. Kanae, Shinobu, and Kanao all wear them in their hair, and the residence where Shinobu treats the wounded is called the Butterfly Mansion. It is there that Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke recover from their injuries after Mount Natagumo.
The belief takes on its full meaning at the end of the battle against Doma. Shinobu gave her life to poison the demon, and it is Kanao, with Inosuke, who finishes him off. Exhausted, the young girl then sees her two sisters, Kanae and Shinobu, smiling at her one last time before departing, at peace now that they have finally been avenged. In the manga, the scene takes place over a few panels, almost without a word. Kanao herself survives, at the cost of part of her eyesight.
Translucent wings
Each wing, elongated and pointed, features fine veins and a color gradient that intensifies towards the bottom, with a few rhinestones at the base. The gold setting, openwork in the shape of a flower, conceals the hook attachment.
The hooks slide into a pierced lobe, and the gold setting, chiseled like a small piece of antique jewelry, holds the wing from the top. Lightweight, the wings move with the slightest motion and catch the daylight. Three colors are offered: blue, with a purple gradient; green, which leans towards turquoise; red, darker, almost burgundy. They can be worn in the evening or daily, or with a Shinobu or Kanao cosplay. Each variation corresponds to a pair in the chosen color. Their lightness allows them to be worn for long periods without discomfort, and their length makes them drop well below the lobe. Wings for the Kocho sisters.
