The pencil case mimics the split design of Giyu's haori: one half in plain plum purple, the other covered in green and mustard diamonds. The round logo is placed at the junction of the two, on the flap, appearing in black on white within its red circle, exactly where the two fabrics meet.

Giyu's haori unites two memories

Giyu Tomioka's haori is made up of two different halves. The burgundy side comes from his sister Tsutako's kimono, while the geometric side reflects Sabito's haori. In Demon Slayer, this garment therefore brings together two departed people whom Giyu continues to carry with him symbolically. The visual contrast of the haori corresponds directly to two personal connections from his past.
