Discover this Demon Slayer Foil Balloon - Die-cut Characters, designed for a themed birthday and party table. This set includes foil balloons die-cut to the character's silhouette, illustrated round balloons, black and white checkered patterns, stars, and eight sets to choose from, delivered deflated and flat.
Tanjiro and Nezuko are full-body die-cut, chibi-style figures, alongside round balloons illustrated with the group, black and white checkered patterns, and pink stars. The cut follows the character's outline; there is no round border around it.
A brother and sister who are inseparable
Bringing these two together in the same cluster makes sense: they spend the entire story together. Tanjiro carries Nezuko in a wooden box strapped to his back, crafted by Urokodaki so she can sleep safely away from the sun while her brother works. The box has slits that allow air to pass through without letting light in.
This arrangement lasts for four years. She is a demon, therefore in theory a target for the organization he belongs to, and he spends his time defending her before his superiors. For her part, she has never bitten him, even though she has had a thousand opportunities to do so. The two die-cut silhouettes look natural placed side-by-side on a wall.
“He carried her on his back for four years, in a box crafted to protect her from the daylight.”
Inflation, durability, and storage
Foil balloons can be inflated with air using the self-sealing valve, without any special pump, and will last for several days this way. Inflated with helium, they float, but the longevity drops to about a day, which is worth keeping in mind if you are setting up the decorations the day before.
Latex balloons, on the other hand, should be inflated at the last minute: they lose pressure faster and do not hold up well overnight. The set arrives flat in a pouch, taking up no space until the big day. For a neat setup, inflate the large pieces first, fix them in place, then fill the gaps with the smaller ones. There is no obligation to use everything at once; a foil balloon can be deflated via the valve with a straw and stored for the following year. The giant number balloon can be fixed to the wall with adhesive putty or placed on a table, weighted by the knot, and it is what structures the cake photo everyone eventually takes. Two silhouettes that are never displayed apart.
