Muzan recognizes Tanjiro's earrings
Tanjiro Kamado wears earrings inherited from his father Tanjuro, similar to those of Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Muzan recognizes them when he encounters Tanjiro, as they remind him of the man who nearly killed him long ago. In Demon Slayer, this visual detail connects Tanjiro to a history far older than himself and is enough to provoke an immediate reaction from the first demon. The earrings remain visible at almost every step of his journey.
On these gloves, one of these earrings appears near Tanjiro's face, above the green and black checkerboard that descends to the fingers. Orange flames also cross the background. The construction is simple: a stretchy knit, flat seams, a black panel on the back of the wrist, and an all-over print on the exterior. The fingers are fully covered and two of them end with a zone compatible with touchscreens. Three sizes fit everyone from toddlers to those over ten years old. These Demon Slayer gloves stay on the wrist without an adjustable fastener, relying solely on the elasticity of the knit. The printed image covers both hands as a single piece, which is only fully revealed when placed side by side. The wrist opening is wide and goes on easily, even with a coat sleeve worn over it.
