Discover this Akaza Demon Slayer Hooded Jacket - Quilted Chest, designed for the mid-season. This jacket features a quilted chest, fleece sleeves and hood, a full-length zipper, two zippered pockets, seven colors, and seven sizes from S to 4XL.

The back features a close-up of Akaza with his spiky pink hair, blue markings running across his face and arms, and his name in kanji 猗窩座 positioned vertically. On the chest, a small embroidered motif features only his eyes, in blue and pink, over the heart.

Marks that transformation did not erase

These blue lines are not a demon ornament. Akaza was once called Hakuji and he was human: these marks are criminal tattoos, imposed on his skin after he stole to pay for his father's medicine. Becoming a demon erases scars and rejuvenates the body. His remained.

This is the only detail that connects the demon to the man he once was, and he is unaware of it himself: Akaza lost all memory of his human life, his fiancée, and the master whose martial art he took up. He only recovers them at the moment of his death. Wearing these marks on his back means carrying the only thing he could not forget. The memory returns to him the moment Tanjiro strikes him, and he then chooses to let himself die rather than continue. He is the only demon in the series who decides his own end.

Quilted chest, fleece sleeves

The construction blends two materials. The chest is quilted with horizontal stitching, which blocks the wind on the chest and back; the sleeves and hood remain in soft fleece, which is more comfortable at the elbows and less bulky under a bag. Both pockets are zippered, which is rare for this price range.

It is the classic compromise of a mid-season jacket: warm enough for an October morning, light enough to be worn indoors. The seven colorways play with panel contrasts: all black, burgundy and navy, white and black, gray and black, navy, royal blue, and gray. On this Demon Slayer jacket, the back motif is printed on the quilted part, meaning it is on a surface that does not deform, unlike the sleeves. Wash at thirty degrees inside out, without a tumble dryer, which crushes the quilting. The only memory Akaza didn't lose.
