Discover this Nezuko Demon Slayer Hoodie - Flower Crown, three colors, designed for the mid-season. Hands raised, and what they mean

The pose on the back is not just decorative. Both hands raised in front of her, palms open, fingers spread: it is the gesture the character makes when she wants to protect someone, not when she is attacking. We see it return every time she places herself between a human and danger.

This is the paradox at the heart of the series. Nezuko is a demon, with all the strength and speed that entails, and the demons in this story eat humans. She does not. Not once. She spends the story doing exactly the opposite of what her nature dictates, and the design chosen here shows her in that gesture rather than with her claws out. A ring of flowers around a young girl who raises her hands to stop something: the image is gentle, but it says exactly what needs to be said.

Three colors, six sizes

The three colors are true clothing colors, black, cream, and white, with the same design. The cream is the only warm background of the entire series and softens the pink instead of making it pop. On the black, the ring of flowers stands out the most; on the white, it is the red of the front disc that dominates.

The six sizes range from S to XXXL. The size chart only gives one measurement, which starts at 102 cm for S and goes up to 122 cm for XXXL: 106 for M, 110 for L, 114 for XL, 118 for XXL. There is therefore a four-centimeter difference between each size, from beginning to end, without exception. It is simpler to choose than it seems: if one size fits you, the next one up will provide exactly four centimeters more. The sweatshirt has a loose fit on the shoulders, so if you like a close-fitting style, take a size down. Hands raised, palms open.
