Inosuke grew up among boars

Inosuke Hashibira was raised far from humans, among boars. In Demon Slayer, this childhood explains his wild behavior, his lack of social norms, and the boar's head he wears almost constantly. He learned to survive without a master or human family around him, then invented the Beast Breathing technique on his own when he began fighting as a slayer.

The pencil case shows him as a chibi with his boar's head lifted onto the top of his head, leaving his real face visible. The origin of this mask matters more than the background patterns.
