Discover this Demon Slayer Pin - Set of six, characters in action, a set of six enameled metal pins, each cut out to a character in full action, from 3.3 to 4.5 cm.
The six pins each capture a movement. Tanjiro draws his blade, sword already unsheathed in front of him. Nezuko raises her hand, bamboo between her teeth, her sleeves and pink kimono flowing. Giyu pulls his blade over his shoulder. Shinobu smiles, her slim sword held in both hands over a butterfly wing. Zenitsu looks down, hand on his hilt. Akaza extends his palm, his face streaked with blue.
The house built by Yoriichi
In Demon Slayer, Tanjiro and Nezuko grow up in a charcoal maker's house high on a mountain, far from the village. It is there that their family is massacred, and it is this house that Tanjiro sees again every time the story asks him why he fights. It is also where the checkered haori he never takes off comes from.
The bonus pages of the manga reveal that the land has an older history. The Kamado house stands on the exact spot where Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the creator of Sun Breathing, lived with his wife Uta four centuries earlier. Sumiyoshi, Tanjiro's ancestor, settled there after finding the abandoned building, and the house only became large because the couple happened to rescue the wife and child of a lord. The workers sent as a gesture of gratitude expanded the building, which the family kept for generations.
“Four centuries before Tanjiro, another swordsman lived on this same stretch of mountain. The Kamados never knew whose home they lived in.”
Six enameled metal pins
The pin is cast in metal, then each color area is filled with enamel between metal partitions: the outline remains sharp, even on small details. On the back, the pin and its clutch can be attached to a collar, a bag strap, or a beanie. The six pieces measure from 3.3 to 4.5 cm and weigh five to six grams, which is light for a jacket lapel.
They can be worn singly or together on a lapel, chest pocket, or bag strap. Remove them before washing the garment, and keep them flat so as not to bend the pin. The six characters complement each other: placed side by side, the three that are drawing their swords all look in the same direction. Six gestures frozen in metal, from drawn sword to extended palm.
