The massacre that begins Tanjiro's journey

Tanjiro Kamado returns home after spending the night in the village and discovers his family massacred by Muzan. Nezuko is the only one still alive, but she has been transformed into a demon. In Demon Slayer, this scene triggers his entire journey: protecting his sister, seeking to restore her humanity, and joining the Demon Slayers to confront those who threaten other families.
