Discover this Demon Slayer Shinobu Throw - Microfiber, purple butterflies, designed for the sofa, bed, and travel. This throw features lightweight anti-pilling microfiber, an all-over print, stitched edges, a full-body character surrounded by butterflies, and five sizes, from 70 x 100 to 180 x 230 centimeters.

Shinobu is drawn full-length, hand on her sword hilt, haori with butterfly wings on her shoulders. The background is purple, scattered with butterflies and crossed by the geometric pattern taken from her clothing.

A blade that doesn't behead

Shinobu is the only Hashira unable to behead a demon. She lacks physical strength, and rather than give up, she had a different blade made: needle-thin, hollowed out with a reservoir, ending in a point that pierces instead of slicing. She is also the smallest and lightest of the serving Hashira.

What the blade injects is distilled wisteria, in a dose far greater than a demon's body can absorb. Shinobu goes even further: she saturated her own system with this poison for months, knowing exactly what she was destined for, so that the demon who devoured her would die from having done so. At the same time, she runs the Butterfly Mansion, where injured slayers are treated. She also trains Kanao, an orphan she and her sister had taken in, leaving her research to her as an inheritance.

Lightweight microfiber, five sizes

Microfiber is thinner than flannel and weighs significantly less for the same surface area. It is treated against pilling, which matters for a throw you fold and unfold daily. The edges are stitched on all four sides and the reverse side remains smooth, without fluff.

The five sizes range from the small format, 70 x 100 centimeters, to the double-bed format, 180 x 230, as well as 100 x 150, 130 x 150, and 150 x 200. The fabric dries quickly and can be stored in a bag without taking up much space, making it a car or train throw as much as a living room throw. Microfiber heats up quickly on contact, unlike wool which takes several minutes, and cools down just as quickly once you leave it.
