In short
The section has twenty-four Demon Slayer throws, in four families. Five microfibre throws, from 70 x 100 to 180 x 230 cm, from €27.90 to €79.90. Nine flannel throws, in three sizes, from €29.90 to €59.90. Nine hooded wearable blankets at €29.90, each taking up a character’s haori. And Inosuke’s throw, with his boar’s head sewn in relief, at €54.90. To choose, start from the use: sofa, bed, travel or an evening wrapped in a wearable blanket.
Contents
Nezuko spends a good part of the series asleep, curled up in her wooden box or lying on a futon, and it is while sleeping that she regains her strength. A throw does the same for you: an episode of Demon Slayer on the sofa, a nap after a long day, a winter evening when you no longer want to move. It might as well look like something, with the character you love in on it.
This guide helps you choose among the twenty-four throws in the section: material, size, shape, character, care and budget. Other ideas for the home are in our guide to Demon Slayer bedroom decor, and all our buying advice is on the shop’s guides and advice page.
Which Demon Slayer throw to choose?
The twenty-four models fall into four families, and each one meets a different use. The microfibre throw is the lightest and the largest: it covers a double bed in its largest size and slips into a bag for the car. The flannel throw is softer to the touch, a little thicker, and designed for the sofa. The wearable blanket is worn over the shoulders and closes in front of you. Inosuke’s throw, finally, is a piece apart, in thick plush, with his boar’s head in 3D.
Before looking at the characters, ask yourself two questions: where will the throw be used, and do you need to be able to move with it? A bed throw does not need the same dimensions as a lap throw, and a wearable blanket is far more practical than a large rectangle when you get up to fetch something without dropping everything.
| Family | Models | Sizes | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Microfibre | 5 | 70 x 100 to 180 x 230 cm | €27.90 to €79.90 |
| Flannel | 9 | 75 x 100 to 150 x 180 cm | €29.90 to €59.90 |
| Hooded wearable blanket | 9 | one adult size | 29,90 € |
| Inosuke’s 3D throw | 1 | 105 x 148 cm | 54,90 € |
All the models are gathered in the Demon Slayer throw collection, which is part of the Demon Slayer decor collection.
Start from the use
Sofa, bed, travel or a wearable blanket over your shoulders: the use decides the family, the character comes next.
Microfibre throws, from lap size to double bed
Microfibre is the lightest material in the section. It will not pill with washing, dries quickly and folds into a small volume, which makes it a living room throw as much as a car or train throw. The print covers the whole surface and the edges are topstitched. It is also the only family offered in five sizes.
It is the throw to take with you. Folded in four, it fits in a backpack or the boot of the car, and it covers a child asleep on the back seat during a long journey. Camping, on holiday or at grandparents’ houses, it replaces the blanket you would rather not lend. The 100 x 150 cm is the most practical size for this use: big enough for an adult, small enough to travel.
The 70 x 100 cm costs €27.90: it is a lap throw, or a blanket for a child. The 100 x 150 cm, at €49.90, covers one person sitting on a sofa. The 130 x 150 cm, at €59.90, leaves room to curl up. The 150 x 200 cm, at €64.90, dresses a single bed, and the 180 x 230 cm, at €79.90, a double bed or a large corner sofa.
Five characters feature on them. Tanjiro, arms crossed, on an aqua green background where the checkerboard of his haori shows through. Muichiro, seated, sword across his lap, on an aqua green background crossed with swirls. Shinobu, full-length, on a purple background scattered with butterflies. Zenitsu, in four appearances over a burning city: asleep, sword drawn, screaming and from behind. And Akaza, fists clenched, in the centre of a blue wave, his two eyes engraved with his rank printed at the top of the throw.
Akaza’s throw is the only demon in this family. It will appeal to those who prefer the Upper Moons to the demon slayers, and our article on Akaza, Upper Moon Three tells about the demon who fights with his bare hands.

Flannel is softer and warmer than microfibre, with a plain reverse and topstitched edges on all four sides. It stays light, dries quickly and folds easily, but it is made first and foremost for the sofa. Three sizes: 75 x 100 cm, 100 x 150 cm and 150 x 180 cm. Tanjiro’s Water Breathing model costs €29.90, €39.90 and €59.90 depending on the size, the other eight €34.90, €44.90 and €59.90.
The nine designs are divided between portraits and close-ups. On the portrait side: Tanjiro with his sword drawn in the middle of a blue wave, Nezuko alone on a pink background, the bamboo muzzle in her mouth, and the group together on a black background, Inosuke, Tanjiro, Nezuko and Zenitsu lit in orange. A throw cut into four columns presents Nezuko, Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke side by side, each in their colour.
The close-ups are more graphic. Four eyes framed so tightly that the faces disappear, each on its own band. Rengoku’s golden gaze, with columns of calligraphy. The faces of Nezuko and Tanjiro turned towards each other, or superimposed in a purple light. And a red close-up of a slit-pupilled eye and a fang, the darkest in the section. These models suit a teenager’s or an adult’s bedroom better than a child’s.
The flannel throw is also chosen by the decor. On a grey or black sofa, the dark backgrounds, the group lit in orange or the red close-ups, extend the furniture. On a light sofa, Nezuko’s pink or the blue of Tanjiro’s wave make a welcome splash of colour. Laid over the back, the throw mainly shows its top: that is where the faces of the portrait models are.
To find all the items of the hero and his sister, our Tanjiro Kamado Demon Slayer collection and our Nezuko Kamado Demon Slayer collection gather throws, cushions and bed linen.

The wearable blanket is the most practical model in the section. It sits on your shoulders, the lined hood folds over your head, and the open cut crosses in front of you. You can get up, walk to the kitchen or play on a console without the throw slipping. It is in polar fleece flannel printed on the right side, with a white lining inside, in one adult size, at €29.90.
Each of the nine wearable blankets takes up a character’s haori, with no face or portrait. Tanjiro’s green and black checkerboard, Nezuko’s starry pink, Zenitsu’s white triangles on yellow and orange, Tomioka’s two fabrics, plain burgundy on one side and diamonds on the other. For the Hashira, there are also Rengoku’s flames, Shinobu’s butterfly wings, Muichiro’s clouds on a sky blue background and Gyomei’s Buddhist prayer in large white characters.
The ninth takes up no haori: it is covered with purple wisteria clusters on a black background, the flower that repels demons in the series. It is the most discreet of the lot, one you can wear without being a fan. Our article on the patterns of the Demon Slayer haori explains what each pattern tells, from the checkerboard to the butterfly wings.
A wearable blanket also makes a good last-minute costume. For a themed evening or a series marathon with friends, everyone takes their character’s haori. Those who want to go further will find the complete outfits in our Demon Slayer cosplay section.

Inosuke’s throw looks like no other. Its hood is not printed: it is sewn in the shape of a boar’s head, with ears that stand upright, a snout that sticks out several centimetres and embroidered blue eyes. Two paws hang down at the front. The plush is thick on both sides, and the throw measures 105 x 148 cm, at €54.90.
It is the funniest throw in the section, and often the one children ask for. Pushed back, the hood keeps its shape and makes the piece recognisable from behind. Inosuke never takes off his boar’s head in the series, and the throw plays on this image. Our article on Inosuke Hashibira, raised by boars tells where this mask comes from, and our Inosuke Hashibira Demon Slayer collection gathers the matching beanie, slippers and plush.

A throw never lives alone: it joins a sofa, a bed, sometimes a whole bedroom in the series’ colours. For a coherent look, pick up the throw’s dominant colour elsewhere in the room rather than multiplying characters. A green checkerboard throw goes with cushions or a duvet set in green tones, a pink Nezuko throw with light bed linen.
For a whole bedroom, the throw combines with curtains, rugs and bed linen from the same universe. Our guide to Demon Slayer curtains presents blackout curtains and shower curtains, and the one on Demon Slayer rugs living room, entrance and bath rugs. A single character per room is often more elegant than a mix of the whole series.
The wearable blankets have one more advantage: folded, they show only a pattern, with no face, and go unnoticed in an adult living room. Unfolded, they immediately say which character it is. It is the right compromise for a fan who shares their sofa with people who do not know the series.
Which size for which use?
The size depends first on where the throw will live. To cover your knees on a sofa or a child in a pushchair, the small format is enough: 70 x 100 cm in microfibre, 75 x 100 cm in flannel. For one person sitting or lying on a sofa, take the 100 x 150 cm, the most versatile size. To wrap yourself up completely or share the throw for two, the 130 x 150 cm in microfibre or the 150 x 180 cm in flannel.
On a bed, measure the mattress and add about twenty centimetres on each side if you want the throw to hang down. The 150 x 200 cm covers a single bed, the 180 x 230 cm a double bed. A throw laid at the foot of the bed, folded in two, only needs a 100 x 150 cm. The wearable blanket and Inosuke’s throw come in a single size: the wearable blanket is designed for an adult, Inosuke’s throw for a child as well as an adult.
To match the throw with the bed, our guide to Demon Slayer duvet covers presents the duvet sets, and our Demon Slayer bed linen section gathers them all.
Choosing the character
Once the family and size are settled, choosing the character becomes simple. Tanjiro is the most present in the section: the microfibre checkerboard, the wearable blanket, Water Breathing, the red close-up and two duos with Nezuko. Nezuko follows with the pink throw, the hemp leaf wearable blanket and the two duos. Zenitsu has his microfibre throw and his triangle wearable blanket, Inosuke his 3D throw and his column on the four-character throw.
The Hashira are present mainly through their wearable blankets: Tomioka, Rengoku, Shinobu, Muichiro and Gyomei. Shinobu and Muichiro also have a microfibre throw, Rengoku a close-up of his gaze. For a fan who hesitates, the group throws avoid having to decide: the group on a black background, the four columns or the four gazes. Our page on the Demon Slayer Hashira presents the nine, and our page on all the Demon Slayer characters helps you choose yours.
For a child, go for a bright design and a beloved character: Nezuko, Tanjiro with Water Breathing, Zenitsu’s wearable blanket or Inosuke’s throw. The red or purple close-ups speak more to teenagers and adults. Our page on Demon Slayer for children gives guidelines by age.
On the demons’ side, the choice is more limited: Akaza is the only one featured, on his microfibre throw. For a fan of the Upper Moons, our Akaza Demon Slayer collection gathers the other items bearing his image, and our page on the Demon Slayer demons presents Muzan and his Moons.
Caring for your throw
All the throws in the section are machine washable at 30 °C. For microfibre and flannel throws, avoid bleach, which would dull the colours of the print, and prefer drying in the open air to the tumble dryer, which would make the printed side pill. The wearable blankets are washed inside out, without fabric softener, which would reduce the softness of the polar fleece flannel.
Inosuke’s throw needs a little more care. Wash it at 30 °C without fabric softener, which would flatten the plush, and dry it flat, in the open air: the tumble dryer would felt the long fur of the hood. Light backgrounds, Zenitsu’s yellow or Muichiro’s sky blue, show marks faster than a dark background and need washing a little more often.
A throw washed regularly keeps its colours for a long time. Fold it rather than leaving it in a ball on the sofa, and store it away from direct sunlight, which ends up fading any print.
Budget and delivery
The smallest budget in the section is the 70 x 100 cm microfibre throw, at €27.90, followed by the wearable blankets and the small Water Breathing throw, at €29.90. Between €34.90 and €59.90, you can choose from all the flannels and the medium microfibre sizes. Inosuke’s throw costs €54.90, and the largest microfibre throw, in 180 x 230 cm, €79.90.
For a gift, a wearable blanket at €29.90 is sure to please, with no size question. Our guide to Demon Slayer gifts by budget offers other ideas, and our selection of Demon Slayer gifts from 20 to 40 euros gathers wearable blankets, throws and other items in this range. The throws are delivered in 5 to 12 days depending on where you live: for a birthday or for Christmas, plan a little ahead.
A throw goes well with another small gift. A wearable blanket and a pair of slippers with the same character make a cosy set for less than €50, and our guide to Demon Slayer slippers presents the twenty pairs in the section. For Christmas, our guide to Demon Slayer Christmas gifts gathers the best ideas by age.
