Discover this Muichiro Demon Slayer Board Shorts - Long Beach Cut, a long-cut, all-over print board short, available in fourteen sizes.
The leg descends to above the knee, lower than on regular swim shorts. The print covers the entire piece, including the crotch and waistband, with no plain areas left. The tones range from sea green to black, in the spirit of the character, with light swirls crossing the leg, and the design continues from one leg to the other without any visible break at the seam. The waist is adjustable via a flat drawstring, and the elastic waistband remains wide so as not to dig into the stomach.
Memory restored against Gyokko
Muichiro Tokito is the Mist Hashira, who became a Hashira only two months after picking up a sword. Yet, he spends much of the story with gaps in his memory, to the point of forgetting names and faces. His twin brother Yuichiro was killed by a demon, a trauma buried behind this amnesia. This apparent detachment changes when he faces Gyokko at the Swordsmith Village.
During this fight, Muichiro regains his memory and faces the Upper Rank Five alone. On these board shorts, the sea green, black, and light swirl tones capture the visual universe associated with the Mist Hashira. The design crosses both legs without a break, like a sheet of mist extending from one side to the other. The product thus connects Muichiro's palette to the moment his identity ceases to be clouded.
"Facing Gyokko, Muichiro regains the memory he had lost and fights the Upper Rank Five alone."
Long cut, fourteen sizes
The board shorts are distinguished by their length: the leg descends to above the knee rather than mid-thigh, a cut inherited from surfing where a long leg protects against friction on the board. The waist is elasticated and adjustable with a drawstring. The print is all-over, including the crotch, and continues onto the waistband. Fourteen sizes cover children and adults, from 100 to 4XL, allowing a whole family to be dressed in the same pattern. These Demon Slayer shorts are suitable for the beach as well as summer sports, and the extra length especially changes the comfort when sitting on the sand. The material is thin and folds without bulk to the bottom of a beach bag.
Rinse with clean water after every swim, especially in the sea: salt left to dry stiffens the fabric and eats away at the colors. Machine wash at thirty degrees inside out, dry in the shade. No tumble drying or ironing, the all-over print cannot handle it. A longer leg, inherited from the surfboard.
Discover more in the same universe
To get to know the character beyond this piece, the full portrait of Muichiro Tokito traces the path of the Mist Hashira, who became a Hashira two months after picking up a sword.
For a shorter cut, the sky blue cloud shorts. For the same character in PVC, the turquoise mist figure. And for your wall, the Mist Breathing poster.
