Discover this Kokushibo Demon Slayer LEGO katana - 1 metre, stand included, designed for a shelf, a wall and a building activity. This Demon Slayer LEGO set includes interlocking pieces, a 74-centimetre dark blade for 1 metre once built, a 26-centimetre handle, a separate 74-centimetre purple scabbard, a display stand 19 centimetres wide, 10 high and 8 deep, a diagram instruction booklet and assembly with no glue or tools.

Once assembled, the katana reaches 1 meter: 74 centimeters for the blade and 26 for the handle. The blade is dark, marked with red and yellow circular patterns that evoke open eyes on the flat of the blade. The guard is purple and pink, and the purple scabbard with green stripes is built separately to be placed on the stand.

A samurai who never ceased to be one

Kokushibo holds the rank of Upper Rank One and is the only demon in the story to have retained a Slayer's breathing technique. He created Moon Breathing while he was still alive, when he was known as Michikatsu Tsugikuni and served as a samurai, and he still practices it four centuries later. No other demon retains any form of numbered style after their transformation.

He has kept the rest with him: his human memories, which most demons lose, his way of speaking, his posture, and a sense of honor that drives him to salute an opponent before killing them. His blade itself extends this dual nature, as he does not receive it from a craftsman but grows it from his own flesh.

Assembly by bags, stand included

Assembly is done using numbered bags, following the manual's order, and the blade is built in sections that connect to one another. The pieces used are thin, only a few millimeters, which allows for the creation of curves and a tight stepped handle pattern rather than blocky shapes. The principle remains that of a classic LEGO set, just finer.

A piece of this length is handled with both hands, held flat, and rests on its stand rather than being brandished: the elements hold together by interlocking, and a sharp knock is enough to detach a section. Allow for several hours of assembly and a workspace where the pieces won't roll away. The finish is dusted with a dry cloth, as water can seep between the elements, and the whole thing can be taken apart and rebuilt as many times as you like, which distinguishes it from a molded replica. The stand provided is also built in LEGO and holds the blade flat or at an angle, with or without the scabbard beside it, depending on the space available on the shelf. A demon who still behaves like a samurai.
