Discover this Demon Slayer Yoriichi Cosplay - Red Haori and Hakama, a three-piece cosplay consisting of a red haori, beige kimono, and black hakama, available with or without a wig.

The haori is a bold red, straight-cut, with wide open sleeves and a black-trimmed collar. Underneath is a high-collared, crossed beige kimono, with its dark collar showing on the chest, secured by a white belt tied in front. The black hakama is loose-fitting and falls to the ankle. The wig is black, very long, with wide red streaks, and styled in a high ponytail.

Yoriichi creates Sun Breathing

Yoriichi Tsugikuni is the creator of Sun Breathing, from which all other breathing styles are derived. He also wears the card-shaped earrings that will be seen much later on Tanjiro. In Demon Slayer, his name remains linked to the very origin of the demon slayers' techniques and to the man who almost succeeded in killing Muzan.

In this costume, the long red haori, the beige kimono, the black hakama, and the very long wig with red streaks recreate his silhouette. The outfit does not showcase his techniques, but it corresponds to the man from whom the entire lineage of breathing styles begins. Thus, the red becomes the visual marker of an ancient character whose influence continues long after his own era.

Three compositions, cosplay and wig

Three options are offered: the three-piece cosplay only, the cosplay with the wig, or the wig only. The cosplay includes the red haori, the beige kimono, and the black hakama with its belt. The wig is the most difficult part to replicate yourself for this Demon Slayer character: the length and red streaks cannot be improvised. Sizes range from S to XXL. The haori is worn open, never crossed.

The hakama should be folded along its original pleats and stored flat. The red haori may bleed during the first hot wash: wash cold, inside out, and separately from other items for the first two times. The long wig should be stored on a polystyrene head and detangled starting from the ends, strand by strand, never from the roots. The beige kimono should be worn high-crossed so the dark collar remains visible under the haori: if low-crossed, it disappears and the layering of the three pieces is no longer clear. The hakama is worn high on the waist, with the belt tied in a flat knot in front rather than on the side. A bold red on a black hakama.
