Discover this Tanjiro Demon Slayer Set - Burgundy, repeated logo, designed for the summer. This set includes a short-sleeved t-shirt, matching elastic-waist shorts, the series title repeated on both pieces, a large painted circle in the center of the top, and eighteen sizes, from 100 cm for children to 6XL for adults.

The title appears throughout, in small print, on both pieces, between red circles that enclose a face with large pink eyes. In the middle of the top, a large painted circle features a long-haired character with a sword drawn in front of it.

A face that demons mistake for another

The character in the middle bears three unmistakable signs: the flame-shaped mark on the forehead, the patterned earrings, and the dark hair that turns red at the tips. These are Tanjiro's. They are also, feature for feature, those of a man who died three centuries earlier.

That man was named Yoriichi Tsugikuni, and he is the only one who nearly killed Muzan. Same earrings, same forehead mark, same silhouette. He left his dance and his jewelry to a family of charcoal burners from whom Tanjiro is descended, and the resemblance subsequently runs through the entire story. The old demons who encounter Tanjiro do not see a fifteen-year-old boy; they see a ghost. Kokushibo, who was Yoriichi's twin brother, stops dead in his tracks before him. The design of this top plays exactly on this confusion: long hair, solemn expression, red robe: he could be either one.

Burgundy on the front, cream on the back

The top is burgundy and the bottoms are cream, with the same print on both: the title written in small letters and red circles enclosing a face with large pink eyes. The large painted circle in the center reappears on the leg of the shorts in the same size. It is the most understated design in the series, and the one easiest to wear separately.

Eighteen sizes cover both children and adults with the same pattern. The first seven are measured in centimeters and correspond to the child's standing height: 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, and 160. Above that, we switch to letters, from XXS to 6XL, eleven consecutive sizes. The reference point is therefore not the same for both sides. For a child, measure them against a wall and choose the number just above their height. For an adult, start with the t-shirt size you already wear. The shorts have an elastic waistband: they are more forgiving than the top. A mark on the forehead and two earrings, three centuries apart.
