Discover these Demon Slayer Giyu Tomioka Wave Crocs, a single-piece molded pair with an all-over printed upper, a pivoting back strap featuring his haori pattern, and a white interior and sole, available in nineteen sizes: six children's double sizes from 23-24 to 33-34, then sizes 36 to 48.
On the left foot, a full-body Giyu, sword in hand, above a blue wave breaking into white foam. On the right, a close-up of his face, with his stoic, blue gaze. The background is burgundy, and the strap features the green, yellow, and orange geometric pattern from the other half of his haori.
A letter and three lives at stake
In the first chapter, Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, finds Tanjiro kneeling before his sister, who has been turned into a demon. He should kill her. He sees Nezuko protecting her brother instead of devouring him, and lowers his sword. He sends Tanjiro to his own master, Urokodaki, and warns him by letter. To Tanjiro, he leaves only one harsh, now-famous phrase: never let anyone else decide your life for you. A slayer has no right to spare a demon.
He answers for this at the Hashira trial. Facing those who want to execute Nezuko on the spot, a letter from Urokodaki is read: if Nezuko ever devours a human, he, Giyu, and Tanjiro will open their own stomachs. Giyu pledged his life without saying a word to anyone, not even to Tanjiro, who learns of it that day. That is the character in a nutshell: few words, but actions that carry weight. The wave on the pair represents his Breathing style: calm water that suddenly unleashes. He even invented his own form, the eleventh: Dead Calm, where nothing that approaches him can reach him.
Portrait, wave, and patterned strap
The pair is molded from a single piece, with an open heel and a pivoting back strap: up to slip them on, down to secure the foot.
The print covers the upper, the sides, and the strap, continuing around the perforations without misalignment. The interior and sole are white, and the strap pattern appears on both sides of the heel. Nineteen sizes fit both children and adults in the same model: six double sizes from 23-24 to 33-34, then every size from 36 to 48, excluding 35. These Demon Slayer Crocs can be rinsed with clear water and a soft brush and should be dried in the shade, away from radiators which could warp the material. Prolonged direct sunlight will fade the burgundy, so it is best to store them indoors. The Water Hashira in close-up.
