Discover this Demon Slayer Pop Figure - Choice of Tanjiro or Muzan, a vinyl figure available in two models, featuring a red splatter paint design.
The first model displays a very pale face beneath a black flat-brimmed hat, dark hair spilling over the shoulders, and a gray kimono adorned with a feather pattern. Red splatters run across the face and clothing. The second model features the boy in the green checkered pattern, with the same treatment and the same red projections. Both are similar in their paintwork, though not in their silhouette.
Tanjiro recognizes Muzan in the middle of Asakusa
Tanjiro Kamado finds Muzan Kibutsuji in Asakusa thanks to his sense of smell. The prime demon does not present himself as a monster: he hides among humans in the guise of a family man wearing a suit and a white hat. In Demon Slayer, this encounter immediately highlights the difference between them: Tanjiro is searching for him, while Muzan has survived for centuries by changing his identity.
This product page offers a choice of two figures, Tanjiro or Muzan, treated with the same paint job but different silhouettes. The boy wears his green checkered pattern, while Muzan appears pale beneath a dark hat in this model. The figure places the two characters of a foundational encounter face-to-face: the moment when Tanjiro identifies the one who destroyed his family.
"In Asakusa, Tanjiro recognizes Muzan among the humans while the demon is hiding under the identity of a family man."
Molded vinyl, two models to choose from
The format is that of a palm-sized figure: about ten centimeters, a shortened body, and a voluminous head that occupies nearly half the height. The PVC is molded into shells closed against each other, with the head fitting onto the neck. Everything that identifies the Demon Slayer character is conveyed through the hairstyle, clothing colors, and what the hands are holding, since the face is reduced to two dark ovals. The feet are flat and slightly widened, which is enough to keep the piece standing without a base or rod. The weight is around a hundred grams. A shelf fifteen centimeters deep can hold an entire row of them, which explains why this format is collected in series rather than individually.
For maintenance, a dry microfiber cloth is sufficient: dust does not cling to such a smooth surface. Dark solid colors show fingerprints, which come off with a wipe. Kept in its box rather than loose, the figure retains its colors for years. Holding it by the body rather than the head avoids putting strain on the neck joint. Two silhouettes, same paint.
