The most dangerous man in the story does not live in a cave: under a false name, he has a house, a wife and a daughter, who know nothing about him. He has fled the sun for a thousand years and only goes out after nightfall, but in the crowd of a big city, nothing sets him apart from a passer-by. More than anything, he hates attracting attention, and nothing enrages him more than being told he looks pale. A monster afraid of being noticed is a monster hiding in the most ordinary corners of everyday life, and that is the idea the little straw hat captures in a single centimetre.

Less than a centimeter of enamel on a thin band
This is the only head in the series to wear headgear, making it recognizable without even seeing the face. The light straw and red ribbon are two colors that no other model in the range features.
The band is thin and silver-colored, open at the back, which allows it to be tightened or widened slightly by hand to fit the finger perfectly. The enamel head attached to the top does not exceed one centimeter: it is glued flat and does not protrude from the sides, so it won't catch on a sleeve or pocket. Since the band is identical across the entire series, several rings can be worn side-by-side without getting in the way.
