Discover this Demon Slayer Cap - Fox Mask, seven colors, tailored for summer and daily wear. This cap features washed cotton, an embroidered fox mask on the front panel, a pre-curved visor, an adjustable back strap, and comes in one size in seven colors.
The embroidered design is a white fox mask, known as a kitsune, marked with red features and surrounded by swirls of flame and smoke. No character, no logo, no name: an object, and an object that matters in the story.
The mask that does not come back
Urokodaki carves a fox mask himself for each of his students before they leave for Final Selection. He paints them differently, one per child, and gives them as protection. Tanjiro wears his throughout his training and keeps it afterwards.
What the series does with it is much harsher. Almost all of Urokodaki's students never returned from this selection, and their masks remained at the foot of the mountain. Sabito and Makomo, whom Tanjiro encounters during his training, wear theirs: it will take the boy months to realize they have been dead for years and that these masks are all that remain of them. The fox is not a neutral animal in this culture. The kitsune is a messenger of the gods, both protector and trickster, and its mask has been worn in village festivals for centuries.

Washed cotton, seven colors
The cotton is lightened before tailoring, more intensely on the edges and seams, which gives the cap the appearance of a piece already worn without any fragility. The structure and the visor remain new; only the color has aged. The fading continues to evolve slightly with use, but evenly.
The seven colors remain in muted tones: grey, dark grey, beige, red, blue, navy blue, and black. The white of the mask stands out against all seven without exception, which is the advantage of a light design on a completely softened range. Furthermore, the embroidery has a practical benefit on this Demon Slayer cap: unlike a print, it does not flake off from the friction of the sweatband and withstands daily wear. The cotton absorbs sweat at the forehead and requires flat drying to maintain the shape of the crown. A protective mask, worn by those who did not return.
