Discover this Demon Slayer laundry basket - Chibi quartet and kanji, a collapsible storage basket available in two sizes: S (34 cm in diameter by 42 cm high) and M (40 by 50 cm). The canvas is printed around the entire circumference, lined with polyethylene, mounted on a reinforced base, and held by two flat handles sewn face-to-face. When empty, it folds flat onto its base.

On a black background, three red Japanese characters appear at the top, with the four characters depicted as small, rounded silhouettes below. Inosuke sits at the top of the pile under his mask, Nezuko and Zenitsu occupy the sides, and Tanjiro is in the front.

Comedy as a breather

This series constantly alternates between very intense scenes and moments that are genuinely funny, often just one panel apart. The shift is conveyed through the artwork: the characters lose their proportions, the lines become simpler, and the reader immediately understands the change in tone. Zenitsu and Inosuke carry most of this burden, and the story of Kimetsu no Yaiba wouldn't hold up without them.

This is not an author's shortcut but an established practice in action manga, which allows for tension release without changing the scene. On merchandise, the reduced version of the characters plays the same role: it makes an object approachable and light, whereas the same quartet drawn in a realistic style would impose a dramatic tone in a child's bedroom. This is the reason why this treatment appears so often on everyday items.

"One serious panel, one funny panel. The proportions change, and the reader follows without it needing to be explained."

A compact central composition

The stack of characters occupies a fairly small central block, surrounded by black. It is the most discreet model in the collection, the one that looks the least like an object printed over its entire surface. It can be placed anywhere without disrupting the balance of a room. The central block occupies about a quarter of the cylinder's height.

In return, the back remains plain, which implies choosing an orientation for the basket once and for all. The solid black handles everyday use well and does not show stains. The construction remains the same across this range: a reinforced base that keeps the cylinder open, a polyethylene lining to protect against damp laundry, two flat handles, and complete flat folding. Two formats: 34 cm in diameter by 42 cm high or 40 by 50 cm. It is one of the few Demon Slayer baskets in the collection that does not show any characters. The large format can handle a week's worth of laundry for two people. The proportions change, and the tone along with them.

Discover more in the same universe

To find your way around the range, the household linen guide compares aprons, towels, baskets and tableware.

In the same vein, the Nezuko and Zenitsu chibi bedding set. For more Tomioka, Giyu in profile with the chibis. And in a realistic style, the quartet on a red sun.

At Boutique Demon Slayer, our aim goes beyond simply selling merchandise.

An independent French shop, we are devoted entirely to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, built so fans can easily find the characters, symbols, outfits and signature objects of the anime and the manga.

A shop specialised in the world of Demon Slayer

Boutique Demon Slayer grew out of one simple intention: gathering the most complete selection of we could in a single place.

Our catalogue is built around several broad categories:

Every category and every collection is designed to make that browsing as clear as possible.

A clear experience, centred on fans

We want discovering the shop to stay simple.

Our approach rests on four pillars: , immersive browsing, regular editorial content and an experience focused entirely on Demon Slayer.

We try to avoid the generic content that would pull the shop away from its subject.
