Discover this Demon Slayer Neck Gaiter - Demon Eyes on a Dark Background, designed for winter. This neck gaiter includes a seamless printed knit tube, approximately 25 by 50 centimeters, an all-over print that covers the entire tube, including the inside, with horizontal bands showing only gazes cropped against a dark background, and one size fits all.

The pattern shows only eyes. Stacked horizontal bands, each cropped just above and just below the gaze: sea green, blood red, golden yellow, blue. The rest of the faces are cut off.

None of the three heroes rely on their eyes

That is the irony of this pattern. On a fabric made entirely of gazes, the three main characters of the series are precisely the ones who hardly use their sight. Each has developed another sense, and each uses it like a radar.

Tanjiro smells. His sense of smell can detect an opponent's intent before they move, and even the sorrow of a demon he has just defeated. Zenitsu hears. He describes every living being by the sound they produce, a kind of music unique to each, and he can spot an enemy behind a wall. Inosuke touches. He senses the vibrations of the air from several meters away and finds his way in complete darkness. The three complement each other without having planned it, and that is what keeps such an ill-assorted group together. The eyes on this fabric, therefore, are mainly those of the enemy.

Bands, not portraits

The cropping into horizontal bands is what gives the pattern its strength: no face is whole, so none is instantly recognizable. The background leans towards dark mauve and black, which makes the light irises stand out. When pulled up over the nose, the fabric places a row of eyes right below your own.

The tube measures approximately 25 centimeters wide by 50 high when laid flat, with no seams along the length. It can be worn in several ways without changing anything about the piece: rolled around the neck, pulled up over the nose, open as a headband, pulled over the head like a hood, or tied in the hair. The knit stretches in both directions and returns to its shape, allowing it to fit very different head sizes. The print covers the entire surface, including the inside: there is no reverse side, so there is nothing to hide when you turn it inside out or fold it. No whole faces, and yet we recognize them.
