Discover this Tomioka Demon Slayer Scarf - Burgundy and Hexagons, designed for winter. This scarf features a long, narrow format, double-sided printing, one plain burgundy half and one half covered in green, yellow, and black hexagons, and comes in a one-size-fits-all design.

The scarf is split in half lengthwise. On one side, a plain burgundy, without the slightest pattern. On the other, a band of interlocking green, yellow, and black hexagons, which creates an impression of volume.

A man who believes he is in another's place

It is the only haori in the series that is not made from a single fabric. Giyu did not assemble it for the sake of contrast: each of the two halves came from someone else, and he wears them sewn together.

Giyu holds the rank of Water Hashira and refuses to call himself a Hashira. He does not eat with the others, he keeps to himself, he barely answers, and he lets everyone mistake him for a contemptuous man. The reason is simpler. He is convinced he is occupying a place that belonged to a friend who died during the entrance exam, the day he survived, and he cannot let go of it. It will take Tanjiro telling him to his face, very late in the story, for him to finally accept his title. In the meantime, he walks around wearing a garment made of two pieces that do not go together.

Two halves that do not blend

The separation is clear, without transition, as on the original garment. The burgundy occupies the largest surface, leaving the hexagons in a band along one edge, and it is this band that catches the eye when the scarf is knotted. These hexagons are drawn in three tones, dark green, yellow, and gold, with a black outline that makes them appear to be in relief rather than printed flat.

The scarf is significantly narrower than an ordinary winter scarf, and significantly longer. It knots flat against the neck instead of creating bulk, and fits under a coat collar without distorting it. This format comes from the original garment: a haori is worn open and lets two strips of fabric fall on either side of the torso, and a narrow, simply knotted scarf recreates this silhouette, where a wide scarf would crush it. The print covers both sides, so the pattern remains visible regardless of how it is knotted and there is no back side to worry about. One size. Two pieces sewn together, and neither is his own.
