Kokushibo was once Michikatsu Tsugikuni

Kokushibo was once Michikatsu Tsugikuni, Yoriichi's twin brother. In Demon Slayer, he grows up in the shadow of a brother whose swordsmanship skills surpass anything he could ever achieve. Michikatsu develops the Breath of the Moon, but jealousy and the fear of his own life coming to an end eventually push him toward Muzan. He then agrees to become a demon to gain time, maintain his strength, and pursue a rivalry he had never managed to resolve as a human.

Having become Kokushibo, he occupies the rank of Upper Moon One and possesses six eyes, a sword formed from his own flesh, and techniques covered in crescents. This scarlet katana-pen remains a visual variation, with a red body, a turquoise handle, and a purple handguard, quite different from the weapon he carries in the series. Behind the demon stands a man, Michikatsu Tsugikuni, a former demon slayer who became Kokushibo out of a desire to overcome the limits of time and approach Yoriichi's level.

Twenty centimeters of painted metal

Once assembled, the item is 20 centimeters long: the body, which serves as the reservoir, measures 16.5 cm, and the handle with its handguard adds 5 cm. Everything is made of painted metal, including the braided handle, and the handguard unscrews from the body to release the tip. The characters engraved along the blade match those on the Demon Slayer swords. Placed on a desk, the object is first seen as a replica, and only then as a pen.

The whole piece fits in the hand like a small sword, handguard included, and serves as both a decorative paperweight and a pen. The black refill can be changed by separating the handle from the body, and the set includes a second one. The painted metal can be cleaned with a quick wipe of a dry cloth, without any cleaning products, and the handguard can be tightened by hand if it loosens over time. It is also an easy gift to give: the object is understood without explanation, even by someone who does not follow the series. The most colorful model: red, turquoise, and purple.
