Discover this 20 cm Sabito Demon Slayer Plush - Fox Mask, a 20 cm tall plush toy depicted standing, made of short-pile plush fabric stuffed with synthetic wadding. His outfit features a layered open peach haori, a green and yellow printed kimono, black pants, and matching leg wraps.
Sabito stands with his arms spread, his fox mask pushed up to the side of his head. His salmon-pink hair falls in spiky strands to his shoulders, his violet eyes look straight ahead, and the scar at the corner of his mouth is visible at first glance.
The boy in the fox mask
Tanjiro meets him on Mount Sagiri at the beginning of Demon Slayer, when he has lost all hope. Urokodaki gave him a final test: split a boulder larger than himself, and six months have passed without a single crack. A masked boy then appears, wooden sword in hand, and takes him to the ground with every assault. For another six months, Sabito beats him and Makomo corrects him. The day Tanjiro's blade strikes first, it splits the mask. Sabito smiles, disappears, and Tanjiro discovers he has just sliced the rock in two.
Sabito had died long before this meeting. A student of Urokodaki alongside Giyu, he had killed almost all the demons on Mount Fujikasane during his Final Selection, and he is the only candidate from that year who did not return. His blade broke on the neck of the Hand Demon, who recognized Urokodaki's students by their fox masks. Giyu Tomioka was part of that selection. Wounded early on and saved by Sabito, he survived without killing a single demon, which is why he refuses to consider himself a true Hashira.
A 20 cm standing plush
The standing format elongates the silhouette and shows off the entire outfit, from the haori down to the leg wraps, whereas a sitting plush would fold them onto itself. At 20 cm, Sabito fits perfectly on a shelf or the edge of a desk.
The details that define Sabito are embroidered rather than printed: the violet eyes, the small closed mouth, and the scar starting from the corner of his lips. Under the haori, the kimono features a green and yellow geometric pattern, the same one found on half of Giyu's haori, and this pattern carries down to the leg wraps. The haori is made of peach fabric with short sleeves, open at the front. The mask is a flat, white piece with black eyes and pink ears. The mask is still whole, just as it was before the boulder.
