Tanjiro receives his mask before the Selection
After two years of training under Sakonji Urokodaki on Mount Sagiri, Tanjiro finally manages to split the boulder that was blocking his progress. Urokodaki then gives him a fox mask before he leaves for the Final Selection. In Demon Slayer, this mask accompanies a very specific moment: the end of his apprenticeship and the passage into a trial where Tanjiro must survive seven nights among demons. It directly links the master, the training, and his entry into the Corps.

The ring is thin and silver-colored, open at the back, allowing it to be tightened or widened slightly by hand to fit your finger perfectly. The enameled head attached to the top does not exceed one centimeter: it is glued flat and does not overhang the sides, so it won't snag on a sleeve or pocket. Since the band is identical across the entire series, several rings can be worn side-by-side without getting in each other's way. Each ring arrives in a small transparent case, making it ready to be given as a gift and preventing it from getting scratched at the bottom of a bag. Less an accessory than a prayer.
