Discover this Demon Slayer Inosuke Katana Umbrella - Folding, boar, an eight-ribbed folding umbrella, printed with Inosuke’s boar mask, featuring a cream-colored handle.

The top of the canopy is dominated by a single face: Inosuke’s boar mask, grey with large blue eyes and a pink snout, set against a beige background. The snout occupies the center, and the two blue eyes spread across several panels. Seen from above, Inosuke appears shirtless, mask on his head and blades raised, surrounded by his shouts written in large characters. You can see him coming from a distance, just like him.

The tailor’s nemesis

In Demon Slayer, Inosuke fights shirtless, his uniform trousers cinched by a fur belt, the boar’s head on his shoulders. The bonus pages of the manga explain why he doesn’t wear the jacket: his skin is so sensitive to touch that the feel of the fabric was unbearable to him, and he shredded it to pieces. Yet, the black uniform is the same for everyone.

Ever since, those who sew the Corps' uniforms despise him, the same pages note, as one would despise vipers and scorpions. The Japanese expression, "dakatsu no gotoku," is used for things one cannot stand the sight of. Inosuke doesn't care. That overly sensitive skin is actually one of his strengths: he feels the slightest vibration in the air, allowing him to detect what is moving around him, long before he even sees it.

A folding umbrella with a giant mask

Eight ribs support a canopy that is printed on the top and black on the underside. The handle takes the shape of a sword hilt, with its guard above the hand, a cross-wrapped cord, and a pommel at the end, so you feel like you're drawing a blade with every downpour. Each panel of the fabric holds a part of the design, which is only fully revealed when the umbrella is opened. On the Inosuke model, the handle is cream, with a wrapped cord and silver rings and end caps, and it lacks a guard.

Closed and folded, it slides into a printed sleeve, with the hilt and handle exposed, like a short sword in its scabbard. It travels that way in a bag, ready for the next rain. No need to leave it lying around in the entryway. The boar mask is recognizable from afar and makes passersby smile. A giant boar overhead, and not a jacket in sight.
