Discover this 8-inch Shinobu Demon Slayer Plush - Insect Hashira, an 8-inch tall plushie depicted in a sitting position, made of short-pile plush fabric filled with synthetic wadding. She wears a purple uniform, a white belt, her butterfly-wing haori, and a butterfly hair ornament.

Shinobu smiles gently, as always. Her dark hair turns purple at the tips, a translucent butterfly-wing ornament sits on each side of her head, and her purple eyes are wide open. Her white, pink, and blue haori is streaked with fine black lines.

A poison instead of a blade

Shinobu Kocho is the only Hashira in Demon Slayer who cannot decapitate a demon: she is too slight to slice through a neck. She therefore built everything around this shortcoming. Her sword, as thin as a stinger, pierces instead of cutting, and each strike injects a wisteria-based poison she creates herself, tailored to the demon she is facing. She even works with Tamayo on poisons intended for Muzan. She also runs the Butterfly Mansion, where wounded demon slayers go to be treated, Tanjiro and his friends included.

Her smile is a legacy. Her older sister, Kanae, the former Flower Hashira, smiled at everyone, and Shinobu has imitated her since Doma killed her, to hide a rage that never leaves her. While dying, Kanae asked her to quit the demon slayers and live an ordinary life. Shinobu did the opposite. She spent over a year ingesting wisteria until her own body became a poison, so that the demon who killed her sister would die while devouring her. At the Infinity Castle, she carries out this plan to the end.

"Too light to slice off a head, she turned her own body into the weapon she lacked. As for the smile, it was Kanae's."

An 8-inch sitting plush

Sitting with her hands placed in front of her, Shinobu keeps the smile that everyone in the Butterfly Mansion knows. She is 8 inches tall, and the purple of her uniform sets her apart from other models dressed in black or midnight blue.

The purple eyes, eyebrows, and smile are embroidered. The hair is fashioned from midnight-blue plush, with purple tips attached to each side of the face, and the butterfly ornament is a piece of translucent gray fabric placed on top. The haori features the wing pattern, in a white, pink, and blue gradient, over a purple uniform tightened by a white belt. Filled with synthetic wadding, for a total height of 8 inches. A gentle smile, a hidden stinger.

Discover more from the same universe

To get to know the character better, the full portrait of Shinobu Kocho traces the path of the Insect Hashira, who kills demons with wisteria poison.

For the demon she swore to poison, Doma and his golden fan. For the Hashira she constantly teases, Giyu Tomioka in a sitting version. And to wear her haori, the butterfly wings cape.

⚔️ Boutique Demon Slayer: a shop devoted entirely to Kimetsu no Yaiba

At Boutique Demon Slayer, our aim goes beyond simply selling merchandise.

An independent French shop, we are devoted entirely to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, built so fans can easily find the characters, symbols, outfits and signature objects of the anime and the manga.

From Tanjiro to Nezuko, by way of Zenitsu, Inosuke, Rengoku, Tomioka, Shinobu and the rest of the cast, we organise our catalogue to make finding products simpler, more coherent and more immersive.

A shop specialised in the world of Demon Slayer

Boutique Demon Slayer grew out of one simple intention: gathering the most complete selection of we could in a single place.

Our catalogue is built around several broad categories:

Demon Slayer clothing, to carry the series into everyday life through hoodies, t-shirts and other outfits;
Demon Slayer figures, for collectors and for anyone who wants their favourite characters on display;
Demon Slayer katanas, inspired by the weapons and the famous Nichirin blades of the series;
Demon Slayer accessories, a quieter way to keep Kimetsu no Yaiba close day to day;
Demon Slayer decorations, made to personalise a bedroom, a desk or a space given over to the series;
as well as Demon Slayer blankets and other items inspired by the show.

This makes it possible to browse the shop by type of product, but also by character and by the visual style each fan prefers.

Collections devoted to the best-known characters

The world of Demon Slayer rests largely on its characters, each with their own story, their own style and a visual identity fans recognise instantly.

That is why our shop also has collections devoted to the best-loved characters, among them Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Kyojuro Rengoku, Giyu Tomioka and Shinobu Kocho.

The point is to let every fan reach the products tied to their favourite character quickly, without going through the whole catalogue.

A blog updated several times a week

Boutique Demon Slayer is not only an online shop.

We publish up to five articles a week on the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, free to read whether you buy anything or not. Each page stands on its own and reads in one sitting.

We cover a wide range of subjects, including:

the characters of Demon Slayer and their stories;
the slayers and the Hashira;
the demons and their powers;
the Nichirin blades and what makes each one different;
the breathing techniques;
the fights that marked the series;
the anime and the manga;
the story arcs;
the symbols, outfits and signature objects;
as well as guides, rankings, explainers and analysis of the world of Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Our aim is content that helps newcomers understand the series better, and gives longtime fans details of this world to discover or rediscover.

These articles also create a natural link between the editorial content and , so a reader drawn to a character, a katana, an outfit or any precise detail of the series can carry on exploring in the shop.

A shop built for different kinds of fan

There is no single way to be a Demon Slayer fan.

Some are after a figure to complete a collection, others want to wear something inspired by their favourite character, display a Demon Slayer katana, decorate a room, or simply find a gift idea.

That is why we deliberately keep the catalogue varied, so it answers collectors, anime and manga fans, and people looking for a Demon Slayer gift for someone close.

Every category and every collection is designed to make that browsing as clear as possible.

A clear experience, centred on fans

We want discovering the shop to stay simple.

Products are organised by category, by character and by visual world, so visitors can move easily from a product to a related collection, then to a blog article or to other products that might suit them.

Our approach rests on four pillars: , immersive browsing, regular editorial content and an experience focused entirely on Demon Slayer.

We try to avoid the generic content that would pull the shop away from its subject.

Everything is built around one world: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Our ambition

Our ambition is to make Boutique Demon Slayer France’s reference on a single world, that of Kimetsu no Yaiba, covered in depth.

A place that brings together:
