Discover these Uzui Demon Slayer LEGO twin blades - 210 cm, 1478 pieces, designed for a shelf, a wall and a building activity. This Demon Slayer LEGO set includes 1478 interlocking pieces, two curved blades 105 centimetres long and 12 high, a gold connecting chain, a display stand, a diagram instruction booklet and assembly with no glue or tools.

The two blades are wide, curved, black and gold, mounted head-to-tail on the stand and connected by a golden chain that hangs between them. The hilts are dark with red bands, and each blade features printed characters on the flat.

Two blades for a former shinobi

Uzui does not fight with a katana. His two weapons are thick, curved blades, closer to cleavers than swords, connected by a chain that allows him to throw and recall them, or to trap an opponent between the two. No one else in the Corps uses this type of weapon. He also uses the chain to retrieve a blade planted at a distance.

This comes from his training: he grew up in a shinobi clan, not a sword school, and he also retains bombs and a way of moving that the other Hashira do not have. His three wives, Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru, are also kunoichi and go on missions with him, infiltrating before his arrival.

A piece of this length is handled with both hands, held flat, and rests on its stand rather than being brandished: the elements hold together by interlocking, and a sharp knock is enough to detach a section. Allow for several hours of assembly and a workspace where the pieces won't roll away. The finish is dusted with a dry cloth, as water can seep between the elements, and the whole thing can be taken apart and rebuilt as many times as you like, which distinguishes it from a molded replica. The stand provided is also built in LEGO and holds the blade flat or at an angle, with or without the scabbard beside it, depending on the space available on the shelf.
