Discover this Akaza Demon Slayer Varsity Jacket - Upper Moon Three, designed for the mid-season. This jacket includes a black or heather grey body, contrasting raglan sleeves, a snap-button closure, striped ribbed edges, the series logo on the chest, Akaza crouching in a guard stance with blue markings on his body, and the character for "three" traced in red behind him on the back, available in six sizes from M to 4XL.

Akaza occupies the back in a crouching position, ready to relax, with his spiky pink hair and blue markings running across his face and arms. Behind him is a Japanese character traced in red: the number three, his rank. Blue splatters cross the background.

A hundred years without knowing who he was

This crouching position, with open hands and no weapons, is his habitual guard. It comes from a bare-handed fighting art he learned during his lifetime, when he was human. The problem is, he doesn't remember it.

The transformation wipes away his memory, and Akaza spends over a century keeping only the gestures. He continues to fight exactly as he was shown, he still refuses to touch a blade, he still holds the same guard, without being able to say where it comes from. Only the form remains, emptied of what had placed it there. Everything comes back to him all at once at the end, the moment his body gives out, and what he rediscovers then decides him not to regenerate anymore. He is the only demon in the story to choose his own end. The body remembered; he did not.

Two bodies, contrasting sleeves

The design plays on a reduced palette: dirty browns, vivid blue for the markings, and a unique red for the character. On the black body, the red of the character becomes the first thing you see. On the heather grey, it is the blue markings that stand out.

Six sizes cover M to 4XL, in a unisex fit. The jacket closes with snap buttons rather than a zipper, like the classic models it is inspired by, and the edges are ribbed at the collar, cuffs, and waist, striped in two colors. The sleeves are raglan, meaning they are cut from a single piece up to the collar: the back remains without a shoulder seam, which is the requirement for placing a visual of this size there without cutting it into three. Two welt pockets on the front. The logo sits on the chest, within its red circle, and everything else happens on the back. The body remembered; he did not.
