Discover this Tanjiro Demon Slayer Varsity Jacket - Large name on the back, designed for the mid-season. This jacket includes a black or heather gray body, contrasting raglan sleeves, snap-button closure, striped ribbed edges, the series logo on the heart side, Tanjiro in three poses, including one where he is holding a fox mask, and his full name in large green capital letters on the back, available in six sizes from M to 4XL.

Three Tanjiros are layered on the back, in his green checkered coat, sword drawn, with one of them holding a fox mask in his hand. His first name arcs above, his last name below, in green capitals written as if by brush.

In the series, no one wears their name

An American varsity jacket usually bears the school name on the back and its initial on the chest. The garment has kept this grammar, yet this series is poorly suited to it for a specific reason: in the story, no slayer has their name written on them.

Their uniform is black, identical for everyone, and bears only one character on the back, the same for all. No stripes, no numbers, no tags. Everyone adds the haori of their choice over it, and it is this fabric, and this fabric alone, that tells who they are: green checkers for one, flames for another, stripes for a third. We recognize each other by a fabric, not a name. Printing KAMADO in large letters on the back is exactly what the organization never does, which is what makes the garment fun when you know the detail.

Two body colors, contrasting sleeves

The jacket closes with snap buttons rather than a zipper, true to the models from which it originates, and the edges are ribbed at the collar, cuffs, and waist, striped in the two colors. The sleeves are raglan, meaning they are cut in one piece up to the collar: the back remains without a shoulder seam, which is necessary to place a graphic of this size without cutting it in three. Two piped pockets on the front. The logo sits on the heart side, in its red circle, and everything else happens on the back. A name on the back, something the corps never does.
